    First Day

    Airport to Wadduwa

    Ayubowan! Once your Zelen Leisure Representative meets you personally on arrival, you will be introduced to your chauffeur guide and then begin your journey to uncover the wonders of this island.

    Transfer to Wadduwa.

    Check-in to your luxurious boutique hotel located in the West coast beach of Sri Lanka, Wadduwa to be exact. Relax here for three days by the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean.

    Second Day

    Wadduwa to Bentota

    Travels to nearby Bentota where you can spend your time at leisure on Sri Lanka’s beautiful coastline, where there are fine beaches and many things to do.

    You can relax on the beach or try out some of the many water sports available here, or, if you fancy, go for a walk to some of the local fishing villages.

    Third Day

    Wadduwa to Balappitiya

    After breakfast transfer to Balapitiya

    The village of Ambalangoda is the starting point of an interesting boat safari along the Madu Ganga, a good place to spot water monitors and a wide array of birdlife, including myriad colourful kingfishers.

    The Maduganga river is a shallow water body in south-west Sri Lanka, wch enters the shiea atBalapitiya.

    The Buddhist Amarapura Nikaya sect had its first upasampada (higher ordination ceremony) on a fleet of boats anchored upon it in 1803. The Buddhist Kothduwa temple is situated on an isolated island in the lake.

    Together with the smaller Random be Lake, to which it is connected by two narrow channels, it forms the Madu Ganga wetland. Its estuary and the many mangrove islets on it constitute a complex coastal wetland ecosystem. It has high ecological, biological and aesthetic significance, being home to 303 species of plants belonging to 95 families and to 248 species of vertebrate animals. It might be one of the last remaining tracts of pristine mangrove forests in Sri Lanka.

    Fourth Day

    Wadduwa to Tangalle

    After breakfast journey to the coastal town of Tangalle in the Deep South, where you will stay six nights at Anantara Peace Heaven, which is a lavish beachside hotel. Tangalle and the adjoining areas are well-known for its superb unspoiled beaches.

    Fifth Day

    Day at Tangalle

    Spend the day at Leisure relaxing and enjoying the pristine, largely untouched beaches of Tangalle. Overnight stay at Anantara Peace Heaven

    Sixth Day

    Tangalle to Yala

    After breakfast journey to Yala National Park and enjoy a Jeep Safari.

    Sri Lanka’s most visited wildlife reserve. Yala covers an area of 1260 square kilometres.

    The park’s dry-zone landscape is strikingly beautiful and the park’s wildlife has its own distinctive charm, with huddles of colourfully painted storks perched on the incongruously conjoined sight of elephants marching sedately through the bush while rabbits scamper through the undergrowth. Leopards, sloth bears and elephants are the “big 3” here although crocodiles, jackals and the many varieties of birds are also a huge draw to this park which is the largest national park in the country.

    Seventh Day

    Tangalle to Dickwella

    After Breakfast head to nearby Dickwella which is a hot spot for snorkelling and diving. Experience a wide variety of local sea life on a snorkelling trip. Spend the rest of the day at Leisure.

    Eight Day

    Tangalle to Mirissa

    Spend the day at Leisure or have the option of journeying to Mirissa.

    Have the opportunity to enjoy a Whale and Dolphin watching tour. Sri Lanka is amongst the top ten places in the world for seeing Sperm Whales along with Blue Whales and Dolphins.

    Whales visit Mirissa from December to April; therefore, this is a seasonal activity. Spend the rest of the day at Leisure

    Ninth Day

    Back In Tangalle

    Spend your last day in Anantara Peace Heaven at Leisure relaxing and enjoying the pristine, largely untouched beaches of Tangalle.

    Spend the rest of the day at Leisure.

    Tenth Day

    Tangalle to Galle

    After Breakfast you will journey along the South Coast of Sri Lanka to the Historic city of Galle and stay at The Fortress, its architecture and interior inspired by the 17th Century Dutch Fort in Galle. Its Location in Koggala beach is sublime.

    After settling in at the hotel take a tour of the old part of Galle city within the Dutch Fort built in the 17th century which has been declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO. A walk on the ramparts from Point Utrecht bastion to Flag Rock bastion will give you an excellent view of the ancient harbour which was known as Tar shish in the Bible.

    We will pass the District Court and the original entrance to the Fort en route to the Dutch Reformed Church built in the 17th century. The New Town to the north of the Fort was badly affected by the tsunami in 2004 and is the home of the famous International cricket stadium which has been rebuilt.

    Eleventh Day

    Day in Galle

    Spend your time at leisure on Sri Lanka’s beautiful coastline at Koggala, or choose to journey to Bentota where there are fine beaches and many things to do.

    You can relax on the beach or try out some of the many water sports available here, or, if you fancy, go for a walk to some of the local fishing villages.

    Twelfth Day

    Galle To Airport

    Transfer to the International Airport from Galle onto your onward journey.
